How We Are Doing This

We're putting the
top 300 builders
in one room.

What happens when the best builders come together? This isn't a "show up and have fun" event. VibeCon is built like a proving ground, for builders who want outcomes that match their effort.

The best builders we've seen share two things: they build, and they can explain what they built. That's the only filter, because that one act tells us more than any application ever could.

If you believe you belong in that room, demonstrate it. 300 people, one room changes everything. Everyone raises the bar just by being there, and the pressure that comes with it is the privilege.

Founders working
The Stakes Are High

Extraordinary builders deserve extraordinary outcomes.

VibeCon isn't built around "prizes." It's built around outcomes that actually move the needle for someone who ships.

Here's what's on the line:

01

A direct YC interview for an upcoming batch.

Not "intro". Not "maybe". A real interview. And yes, this has never happened in India before.

Y Combinator
02

You're evaluated by people who actually know what they're looking at.

Top founders. Investors. Operators. Creators. A panel that can separate "nice demo" from "this is the real thing."

The Panel
03

The kind of visibility and leverage builders rarely get in one place.

Investor roundtables. Winner gets a billboard. Creator features. Partner credits. And more. Stuff that doesn't just feel good for a day, it compounds after the room is over.

Visibility

And zoom out for a second.

For the first time ever, Y Combinator is launching Startup School in India. And for the first time, we're running an initiative here where the winner earns a direct interview for an upcoming YC batch, something we've only done before in San Francisco.

We're bringing it home.

If you're the kind of builder who believes your work deserves a bigger stage, this is it. Put in the effort. Earn the room. Take your shot.

Frequently Asked Questions

VibeCon is a high-signal builder competition designed to identify the top 300 builders in India. It is not an open-entry event. You must earn your place before you can participate. The final event, the VibeCon Battle Grid, brings together these 300 builders for a two-day competition.

Most events work like this: You fill a form and wait. VibeCon does not work like that. You are not selected because you applied. You are selected because you proved that you belong among the top builders in the country. The application process itself is designed to filter for signal, not volume.

The VibeCon Sprint is the selection phase. This is where we identify the top 300 builders in India. Everyone starts here. You must demonstrate your ability through your past work, your thinking, and your ability to communicate. This is not about ideas. This is about proof of ability.

No. In the Sprint phase, you are not required to build a new product. Instead, you must demonstrate your capability through your portfolio of past work and a mandatory video pitch. We are evaluating whether you have the potential to build at a high level.

Your application must include: 1) Portfolio: Showcase what you have built before. This helps us understand your level of execution. 2) Video Pitch (Mandatory): A short video explaining who you are, what you have built, what you want to build next, and why you belong among the top 300 builders in India.

Keep it 60 to 90 seconds. We are not evaluating production quality. We are evaluating clarity of thought and conviction.
